Robbinsdale, Minnesota is a city of about 14,500 people located next to the northwest
corner of Minneapolis. The City is over 100 years old and has maintained its small town
feel. New housing options are on the horizon with a number of townhome developments
under consideration.
The city is
governed by the Robbinsdale City Council
made up of a Mayor and 4 Council Members. Each Council Member represents a specific area
("Ward") of the city. The City Council formulates the city policy. The City
Manager is responsible for city administration.

Lawn Watering Restrictions: In order to preserve our
natural resources, Robbinsdale prohibits watering from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. During this
time most of the water evaporates. Exceptions to this restriction are new sod and
spot watering of gardens.
